Co-Curricular Activities

Extracurricular classes are conducted in the school so that the student can nurture their inborn talents under the able guidance of professionals. At National Public School, Kengeri, a student has a plethora of activities to choose from. The extra-curricular classes provide further avenues to enable the students to enhance their artistic skills.

Physical and Health Education, Art Education and Work Experience are compulsory and are dealt with effectively in the non-scholastic area.

These classes are conducted on a regular basis after and during school hours.

MUSIC - SAPA
Children have a natural affinity for melody and rhythm, and early music education benefits them in many ways. The SAPA in Schools program was born from the belief that high-quality music education should be made accessible to every child.
DANCE - FREE STYLE

Free style dancing is all about self-expression and improvisation. It involves runs, spins, kicks, and leaps along with movements of arm and hand actions according to the beats of the music which children will enjoy to involve and express their own styles.

AEROBICS

Aerobic dancing involves any kind of exercise put to music. Aerobic activity strengthens the large muscles and improves the body’s abilities in children’s growing age.

ART AND CRAFT

Art education fosters creativity, innovation, thinking outside the box and having good interpersonal skills. As per the levels, we plan Art & Craft activities that bring a sense of enjoyment, pleasure and a relaxation to little minds.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Experiential learning is significant for a child's brain development and learning. Children are curious and have a desire to learn; they understand things better, and their learning is lifelong through Experiential Learning.

STRUCTURED PLAY

Structured play is any form of play where children are given a specific task, purpose, or learning objective with a set of rules that they must follow in order to play the game.

PODCASTS

Listening to podcasts improves students reading comprehension and vocabulary. By listening to others speak, children are able to hear the rhythms and patterns of speech.
