The Kindergarten of NPS Kengeri celebrated its first annual day “SPARSH” on 5th December 2015.
The program commenced with a melodious invocation and a classic welcome dance which brought down enough divinity into the hall. Mr. K.V. Nagarajamurthy presided over as the Chief Guest and the dias was graced by our Secretary Mrs. Divya Avinash and Mrs. Shylaja Somanna.
The Chief Guest’s address was followed by our Principal Ma’am Mrs. Geetha Dikshit’s address, later the cultural programme started with a skit which was beautifully designed on the concept of Unity in Diversity. Four different cultures of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Chandigarh were generously woven into the story line and children of each section represented a state at a time and performed dances reminding the gathering that a nation’s culture resides in the hearts and soul of its people.
The Staff of Kindergarten had of course put in their imagination to work consequently with the children and produced extraordinary results. This understanding was also assured by huge round of applause from the parent’s side. If the skit was hilarious and had the gathering laugh to its heart’s content the masters of ceremony was the Hall-mark of the event.
The Thoughtful program concluded with a vote of thanks addressed by our Co-ordinator Mrs. Poornima Ramesh.
